The registration fee is $150 for non-students, and free for all graduate and undergraduate students (not postdocs).

Registration must be done in two locations: (1) this website for organizing the program, and (2) SIAM's conference registration portal for payment and requesting banquet attendance. We apologize for this inconvenience. NOTE: You will pay the registration fee only on SIAM's website, so be aware of scams asking for your money otherwise.

If you are submitting a minisymposium session:

• You may have up to three sessions of five speakers each, for a total of 15 speakers. You only need to complete one submission for multiple sessions. Each talk will be 25 minutes, including questions.
• When submitting your minisymposium, select "Minisymposium Session" as the type of submission.
• List the (co-)organizers as the "authors" of your submission. The website requires at least one "author" to be a speaker; just list the main organizer as a speaker, even if they are not.
• You will be asked to upload a file. Please upload a pdf list of your speakers, separated into sessions (if more than one session). This will help us when creating the program. You do not need to include talk titles.
• Once your minisymposium has been approved, please have your invited speakers submit their minisymposium talks by the submission deadline.

If you are submitting a minisymposium talk (NOT a contributed talk):

• Please DO NOT submit your talk until after the minisymposium has been approved/accepted.
• When submitting your talk, select "Minisymposium Talk" as the type of submission, and proceed to select the minisymposium that you were invited to speak in.
• You do not need to upload a file when prompted to do so.

If you are submitting a contributed talk:

• When submitting your talk, select "Contributed Talk" as the type of submission.
• You do not need to upload a file when prompted to do so.

If you are submitting a poster:

• When submitting your talk, select "Poster" as the type of submission.
• You do not need to upload a file when prompted to do so.
• Please note: the physical poster must be no larger than 48 inches (wide) x 36 inches (tall). You may also orient the poster 36 inches (wide) x 48 inches (tall) if you prefer.

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) is an international organization that fosters the development of applied mathematics and computational methodologies needed in various application areas through publications, conferences, and communities like student chapters, geographic sections, and activity groups.

Formed in 2022, the New York-New Jersey-Pennsylvania Section of SIAM provides venues for the section members to communicate, build broader networks and promote collaborative and synergistic efforts in applied and computational mathematics, and support the mission of SIAM throughout the region.

The New York-New Jersey-Pennsylvania Section of SIAM will organize annual section meetings, seminars and workshops on advanced topics in applied mathematics that are of common interest to the section members. The New York-New Jersey-Pennsylvania Section of SIAM will encourage new SIAM student chapters and facilitate all SIAM student chapters to connect, thereby promoting collaboration in applied mathematics and its applications to industry and science. Participation in the section activities will be open to all institutions and industries in the region with an interest in applied and computational mathematics.
